Beth Lisberg
Najberg is principal of Beginnings, an information design consulting
firm, since 1991.
Beth’s mission is to help people integrate media into communication
and learning.
When there were only mainframe computers, at Bell Telephone Labs
in Naperville, Beth made flow charts of an electronic switching
system.
In another career she saw the power of good storytelling to keep
an audience focused. She was a learning center director in an elementary
school for nearly 10 years.
Beth then transferred those skills to training and instructional
design in the corporate world. She was an instructional designer
for a telecommunications company and a horticultural wholesaler
before starting her own consulting company, Beginnings, thirteen
years ago. A partial client list of training projects includes:
Black & Veatch, Alberto Culver, United Airline, Kraft.
