Training must be practical, hands-on, and concrete.
The best way to learn how to produce an effective presentation
is to see examples - both good and bad. We do this for all classes,
from beginning to advanced.
Once you’ve seen the examples, we’ll discuss the principles
that make an effective presentation. You’ll identify slides
in which information is not clear, then consider ways to improve
communication.
Next you will create a presentation. In the process you’ll
learn to use the tools in PowerPoint. We believe that PowerPoint
is a tool to help you, not an end in itself.
- In basic skills, participants
reproduce slides that they’re shown.
- In intermediate classes,
participants solve problems that are presented.
- In advanced classes, we
solve problems that participants bring to class.
